Policies & Procedures
BOOKING POLICIES
A 50% deposit may be required to book and schedule studio time. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of your recording(s) or created asset(s). Exceptions to payment schedule can be made at the discretion of the producer or engineer team.
Sales Tax and/or a 3% credit card fee will be added to all invoices and transactions.
All payments are final and non-refundable upon completion of services by MXSIC. Remaining payable balances may be refunded if the project/service is abandoned for any reason during the process.
All studio time officially booked on our calendar MUST be used within the time allotted. If technical difficulties do occur, it is at MXSIC’s discretion to reschedule or provide unused hours in the future.
RESCHEDULING POLICIES
Please notify MXSIC 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule.
If you notify MXSIC to reschedule in LESS than 48 hours, the initial deposit may be forfeited. This action is required to prevent the loss of re-booking the Studio and the Producer/Engineer to another client. Money spent beyond the initial deposit that is not used can go toward future studio time and services or be refunded upon project abandonment.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
​If for any reason you need to cancel your studio time completely, please notify MXSIC immediately. For all cancellations, the initial deposit may be forfeited and non-refundable.
FINANCING POLICIES
Clients who choose to finance through MXSIC or our financing partner(s) are required to apply for credit at the full amount for the project quote/invoice. Financing can NOT be used for the booking deposit only.
Any product/service charges beyond the initial financing agreement (under $500) must be paid in full via cash or debit card.
If the project is abandoned for any reason before services are provided while under a financing plan, MXSIC may refund any outstanding amounts less than 50% of project/service total value.
TARDINESS POLICIES
​Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose sessions follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your producer/engineer will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start the session. You will be responsible to pay for the entire session or project, regardless of session length.
GENERAL POLICIES & REGULATIONS
Smoking or vaping within the studio is prohibited. Please use the designated smoking area behind the building. All illegal drug substances and weapons of any kind that are harmful or disruptive are strictly prohibited inside of MXSIC.
We reserve the right to deny entry or refuse business without refund, liability or compensation if the circumstances so require.
MXSIC’s policies and regulations are subject to change without notice.
Use of MXSIC's logo and engineer/producer credentials on physical items, digital files, CD's, DVD's, banners or other promotional material is strictly prohibited without official written release by management.
